Medical Oxygen
-
Medical oxygen (O2) has a variety of implementations that vary from medical oxygen used in hospitals, medical oxygen mixed with medical grade nitrous oxide used in dental offices for sedation, medical oxygen used in ambulances, down to medical oxygen used on a direct level for individuals with breathing complications.
Medical Nitrous Oxide
-
Nitrous oxide (N2O) has multiple industrial applications, but here at Tiger Gas we focus on medical nitrous oxide. Most commonly used in dental offices, medical nitrous oxide has applications throughout the medical field as an anesthetic and analgesic
C25
-
C25 is one of the most commonly used shielding gases for MIG welding is C25 (75% argon gas and 25% carbon dioxide). C25 is a good multipurpose gas mixture for welding steel. This gas mixture is well liked due to its desirable balance of a narrow weld of pure argon, and the volatility of pure carbon dioxide welding.
Argon
-
Argon (Ar) is an inert gas that is colorless, tasteless and odorless. Argon is also non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive. Our compressed gas Argon plays a vital role as a welding shielding gas that enhances arc stability and prevents atmospheric contamination of welding pools, and is essential to gas tungsten arc welding.
Oxygen
-
Oxygen (O2) is a colorless, odorless gas. Its presence is required for most combustion to take place. We supply oxygen for a variety of applications, but primarily for welding and metal fabrication applications. We also supply oxygen for medical applications (see medical oxygen).
Acetylene
-
Acetylene (C2H2) is a highly flammable gas that is colorless and has an odor. Our compressed acetylene gas cylinders are almost always used as a fuel gas for welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering. Acetylene offers the hottest flame temperature of commercially available fuel gasses. When run with oxygen in an acetylene/oxygen fuel torch it becomes an ideal gas for welding, cutting, and brazing metals.
Carbon Dioxide
-
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless, and non-flammable gas. Common uses of high pressure gaseous CO2 range from beverage carbonation in sodas and beer breweries to welding shield gas applications. In its liquid form it is used for chilling and freezing in food manufacturing, artificial fog and smoke at live events, and pressurized gas to power paintball guns just to list a few.
Beer gas
-
Beer gas is a blend of carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The ratio may vary, but 30/70 is commonly used. This mixture of CO2 and N2 when used in a draft beer system will result in your beer having a creamier consistency, a longer lasting foamy head, dispense from taps smoother, retain its original beer flavor, and reduce pour costs.
Nitrogen
-
Nitrogen (n2) is a versatile gas with a variety of applications in many different industries. A few of those include an assist gas in laser cutting, a welding gas in automotive manufacturing, a cryogen, a pressurizing agent, and even beverage carbonation when blended with carbon dioxide.
